Abstract

This article explains the comparison of the concept of wahdah al-wujud between Siti Jenar and Mulla Sadra. Siti Jenar is famous for the idea of her divine ontology, which is always interesting to discuss; Manunggaling Kawula Gusti. In contrast, Mulla Sadra is famous for the concept of his ontology called al-Hikmah al-Muta’aliyyah. This study uses a type of library research with descriptive analytical methods. The results show that the concept of wahdah al-wujud between Siti Jenar and Mulla Sadra has similarities and differences. The similarities and differences between the two focus on the form of God and His creatures. As for the similarities, both assume the form of God and His creatures are the same. However, the difference lies in the cause of being "the same" of God and His creatures.

Abstract

The belief that the Qur'an contains all kinds of knowledge in the universe, including modern science, has inspired some interpreters to create an interpretation of the Qur'an with a scientific nuance. This paper aims to see how the interpretation of other sciences. This study uses a descriptive analysis method of books and journals that discuss paired verses. Whether we realize it or not, the verses in the Qur'an are very close to scientific studies. One of the things described in the Qur'an is that everything is created in pairs. This paper includes several verses and their interpretations that show that the study of the Qur'an is in line with scientific studies. So that the interpretation of this verse produces new studies.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the methodology of hermeneutics Wilhelm Dilthey in understanding text. Dilthey was a philosopher who played an important role in developing hermeneutics as a scientific methodology. The study used library research which guides the hermeneutic books and other documents that give explanations of their thinking. This research also used a historical-philosophical approach and content analysis. The results of this study indicate that Dilthey thought of hermeneutics has three formulations in which the text’s interpretation is experience, expression, and understanding. Dilthey's hermeneutics methodology is a process of interpreting text by understanding the author's history, which manifests into a text, language, and discourse.

Abstract

Arabic and Indonesian have different constructions in the formation of the verb tenses. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of formation of tense verbs in Arabic and Indonesian, to analyze the differences in the formation of tenses between the two languages. The method used in this research is qualitative with contrastive analysis. The results of this study describe the formation of Arabic tense verbs through internal modification and affixation, while the formation of Indonesian verbs is realized lexically. The difference between the two is that the formation of verbs in Arabic is always related to time, quantity, and gender differences, are expressed grammatically through verbs changes, while the formation of verbs in Indonesian is not related to time, and gender thus expressing the semantic concepts of time, quantity, and gender are lexically represented by accompanying verbs to form verb phrases without changing their verb forms.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the existence of asbabun nuzul for the interpretation of Al Quran verses. The mufassir admits that without asbabun nuzul it will be difficult to understand the verses of the Qur'an. Therefore, this study reveals the implication of asbabun nuzul for interpretation. This article raises the issue of child's lineage to the ones who are the un-biological father. This study is library research by using articles and books as the primary sources. The results of this study show that asbabun nuzul has the primary authority in the interpretation such as clarifying the understanding of the process of legal determination, reviewing the specificity of the law, and rejecting the existence of hasr (legal restrictions) in the verses that contains legal barriers.
